BIOGRAPHY
​Bridget Suchar began her dance journey at the age of six training in Isadora Duncan’s modern technique. Her love for the organic freedom of Duncan technique led her to train in ballet, contemporary, jazz, and lyrical at the DanceNyaad studio in Bedford Hills, NY from the age of seven until graduating highschool and committing to the Boston Conservatory at Berklee as a Contemporary Dance Performance major. During her time at the Conservatory, Bridget has participated in multiple diversely creative processes, such as performing Jarek Cemerak’s “Metamorphosis”, and Hope Boykin’s “All At Once”, as well as collaborative processes in Ali Cedarholm’s “Caenogenesis” and Katie Corrao’s “We Remain Bound…” Some influential experiences Bridget has had in her time at the Conservatory include participating in Olivier Besson’s Moment’s Notice improvisation showcases, and Alissa Cardone’s INsite Movement Laboratory where she worked on a local farm researching movement and agriculture. In addition to her work at the Conservatory, Bridget has attended various summer programs such as Hubbard Street Dance Company’s EXPLORE intensive, and Belvoir Terrace Performing Arts program.
